“Decoding the Prophecies: A Step-by-Step Guide to Understanding Revelation”

Let’s explore life’s toughest questions about God, the Bible, and what’s happening in the world—making complex topics clear, approachable, and grounded in truth.

Have you ever wondered…

Great question! Daniel and Revelation can feel a bit overwhelming, but they’re actually full of hope and encouragement. The key is to let the Bible interpret itself. For example, when Daniel talks about beasts, the Bible explains they represent kingdoms (Daniel 7:17).

Start by praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance (John 16:13) and looking for connections between these books and other parts of Scripture. Remember, these books aren’t meant to confuse you—they’re meant to reveal Jesus and His ultimate victory (Revelation 1:1). Take it one step at a time, and don’t be afraid to ask for help or use the study resources found on this website.

While the Bible doesn’t mention pornography specifically, it does speak about purity and guarding your heart. Jesus said that even looking at someone lustfully is like committing adultery in your heart (Matthew 5:28), which shows how seriously God takes the thoughts we entertain.

Pornography distorts God’s beautiful design for intimacy and can harm your relationships with others and with Him. The good news is that Jesus offers forgiveness and freedom. He invites us to replace harmful habits with better ones by filling our minds with things that are true, pure, and lovely (Philippians 4:8). If you’re struggling, you’re not alone—pray for strength, seek accountability and counseling, and take steps toward healing.

You don’t have to live in constant fear about your salvation. The Bible is clear: if you’ve accepted Jesus, you can have assurance of eternal life (1 John 5:11–13, John 1:12). Salvation isn’t about being perfect; it’s about trusting in what Jesus has done for you.

Find confidence in God’s grace as you grow in your relationship with Him. Look for signs that He’s at work in your life—like growing in love for others, feeling drawn to His Word, and noticing His Spirit guiding you. Stay close to Jesus, and He will give you the peace and assurance you’re seeking (John 15:4-5).

It’s natural to wonder about this! According to the Bible, death is like a sleep. It’s a state of unconscious rest until Jesus comes back to wake us up at the resurrection (John 11:11-14, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

The Bible says that the dead don’t know anything (Ecclesiastes 9:5), so they’re not in heaven or hell right now—they’re simply resting. The amazing part is that Jesus’ resurrection guarantees that those who trust in Him will live again (1 Corinthians 15:20-22). Death is not the end—it’s just a pause until we see Him face-to-face.

You’re not alone—this is a common struggle! Life is busy so finding time to study the Bible can be a challenge. When you do have time, it can be hard to know where to start or feel overwhelmed by the text.

Here’s some advice: start small. Try reading a short passage or chapter each day. The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John) are a great place to begin! Pray before you begin and ask God to help you understand (John 14:26). Pick a translation that’s easy to read and if you’re feeling stuck, join a Bible study group or use a devotional to guide you.
